It's not that hard unless you're in the apple ecosystem, and even that is getting better thanks to the EU.

Android phone has been USB C for 5-6 years? My headphones are USB-C, all laptops have been USB C for years, same with tablets. Everything I travel with has been USB-C since pre COVID. Amazon took a while to update their Kindle, but they are cheap.

When we go camping or biking, flashlights are USB-C, GoPro is USB-C, the lantern is a USB-C power bank.

The "good old days" were a disaster of different chords and if you forgot one, you were out of luck. No thanks.

I'm a little frustrated with coordinating wires and USB devices.

Based off people's pics, doesn't look like it. Not worth it
One of the reviews says it does pps charge their galaxy ultra at 35w so i believe it does do it..
I personally prefer the 47w over the 65w w USB A due to that minor size difference which helps Nano 3 47w stay within one spot space on the outlet.

Does this (the GaN) help with the heat that my phone produces when I attempt to fast charge? I use Apple's USB C 20watt and its much warmer than the USB A 5watt chargers. That said, I tend to just charge my phone on the 5watt while I'm working.
It will not change the amount of heat whatsoever on the device/phone side. GaN technology is solely providing benefits to the charging brick and won't raise/lower/change the amount of heat generated by your phone.

Only way to bring the phone's heat down would be to lower the amount of power going into it. That's why the 20w charger makes your phone warmer than the 5w one.

After Christmas the wife and I were trying to coordinate charging phones, watches, tablets, and a MacBook. We reminisced of the good old days when a device had a freakin electrical cord and you plugged it into an outlet and that was the end of it.

You have to appreciate the scam of forcing everyone on the planet to buy new cords and wall worts every 5-10 years now.

The difference is that you had wall wart built into the device, and you threw it out along with all the wires.
Of course there were fewer devices overall...

Seriously. If I see something comes with a barrel plug charger these days I'll pass on it. Everything had its own barrel plug and nothing was interchangeable in the "good ol days".

I can charge nearly every device I own from a single charger and cord including my phone, ipad, laptop, battery bank, game controllers, switch, steam deck, and other random flashlights and gadgets. You would have needed a whole storage bin for all those proprietary chargers 20 years ago. Even if you have an apple device with a lightning port it's literally just buying one more cable - USB c to lightning. Charge your whole house with a single charger and two cables? I think we're doing just fine these days.

Sorry should've clarified. My "good old days" were a reference to a power cord plugging into a wall outlet. Not an alphabet soup cable plugging into an alphabet soup adapter plugging into a wall outlet.
Any of those devices fit in your pocket?

My MacBook doesn't fit in my pocket yet I still need a MagSafe usb C cable and a usb C power adapter for it.

I remember earlier generation dual port Anker usb chargers would pause and renegotiate charging with an already charging device if another device is plugged in. Does this model also do the same?

I have an Apple 35W dual usbc charger and I like that it doesn't interrupt charge when I plug in another device.

I'm there too, but now I want a nice and compact one for chucking in the bag. This one would work for that, although I think I'd rather have the newer 67W 'GaNPrime' unit [amazon.com]
I have this one. It's nice to have a full size USB port. And it'll do 65W if using 2 ports. I still have stuff that uses micro usb. It's a little larger than this charger - 1.6×1.5×1.9 in vs 1.36x1.36x2.05 in.

I can't find this specific charger on Anker's site and searching their support for 523 yields a power bank. If I search for "Anker 523" the only links are to slickdeals or Amazon.

I can't confirm if this charger actually supports PD and the market barf on Amazon's page goes out of their way to avoid mentioning it.

A question answer said it supports PD but lists 11v support?

This doesn't give me the good feels...

Unfortunately not. If I've got to fill up my phone quickly from near empty, I've taken to setting it on a bag of frozen peas while it ramps up. It's also good to put the 80% limit on the new iPhones, as the battery is happiest long-term between 20% and 80%. This doesn't suit everyone (my son is perpetually at <10% no matter the battery capacity), but that should reduce the wear and tear on the chemistry.
