Is it true that short throw projectors are not only more expensive than regular projectors but also don't offer as good a picture? Wondering if it's better to just get a longer throw projector, even if it means the image isn't as big (I only have about 9 feet between back wall and screen).
Also, is it true that no short throw projectors offer 3D capabilities? One manufacturer told me 3D is being phased out of all projectors, like they were phased out of TVs.

AWOL Vision, Optoma, and Vava both do 3D. None of the more "mainstream" UST projectors do 3D.
I haven't done any direct comparisons myself, but can tell you both USTs I've owned (optima D2 and awol 3000Pro) have incredibly good pictures.

On website it is mentioned multiple times that screen is included. Then why this post says no screen?
Edit: Listing title says projector only.. seems like a lazy copy paste job on creating description.
Customer service confirmed there is no screen included. Just the Projector

older models of 1080p LG UST do 3D, if 4K doesn't matter.
Very tempted on these; can anyone comment on the refurb quality from Hisense? Do we think they are just returns or units that actually had issues (stuck pixels/etc)?

The PX1 was sold with out a screen and the size is adjustable from 90-130 inches. I have the PX1 pro and bought a 110 inch screen from amazon for ~$350

Is it 60 or 120hz?
