Do I need to get a blender so it creates a smoothie not juice?

Juicers will always leave pulp behind and will separate out the fibers which is a disadvantage compared to blenders. blenders will blend along with fibers and are great for smoothies. I personally use both Juicers for mainly juicing veggies which is not that efficient or possible in blenders and i use blenders for smoothies and juicing citrus fruits.

This juicer leaves moister pulp then compared to centrifugal juicer. Here is my opinion on the juicers i used
Ninjja masticating juicer:
1.Slow juicer - more nutrients as less heat is generated
2. Cheaper than other masticating juicers though expensive than centrifugal juice cers
3. Easier to wash compared to centrifugal juicers, though easier to wash in dishwasher than hand washing
4. Takes less space on counter
5. Good to make smaller batches of juice.
6. Pulp control is nice
7. Can juice beetroots, ginger, celery, spinach along with carrot apple and oranges
Cons
1. Feeding Chute is small so food prep time is more
2. Centrifugal juicers are better if you like to make large batches of juice. Though remember juices are always good to drink fresh only which i prefer
3. Takes time to juice compared to centrifugal as this is slower process.
I did run the pulp back through the machine as an experiment - it yielded maybe another 5-10% more juice, but the taste was kind of bitter - not worth squeezing out every last drop in my opinion. I think it's a pretty nice value juicer - if we use it until it breaks then we'll upgrade to something nicer, but this seems perfect to start with.
