Far less? What was your materials cost? Pressure treated ply is still over $50/sheet. Add in framing, fasteners, roofing material… even if you can get all that for $200, another $200 for this thing to be up in minutes rather than many hours seems well worth it. And that assumes one has all the saws/tools to boot.

Can anyone comment on the "seal" on this. I understand ants and things like that can get in but any gaps big enough for anything larger?

If youre looking for suncast shelves for these, i had no luck. I may have to resort to having an entirely new freestanding shelving system in it. Manufacturer website has them but the shipping is astronomical. Theres no saving on shipping by adding more either. if they have them elsewhere please chime in. i believe you need the exact model # bmsashelfh2 as all other ones are too short

Hard to say. Theres minimal light that comes in through the gapes between the roof and walls, but nothing crazy imo. A caulk gun or some spray foam would work if youre really worried. I do believe it needs "some" ventilation as i see the more pricier models have that feature in their sheds and considered drilling some holes in putting in those round mesh vents. I think its possible for a wasp to find a home in this shed but ive had my shed for about 6 months in southern Cali and its all good so far.

I have a shed with gaps. I use old window screens to prevent most bugs and critters. At the same time it allows fresh air to enter. I'd imagine if I plugged it up, that too much moisture would build up.
