SGS Certified to UL 2271, straight from their website, for whatever that means exactly. I assume that at least means the battery shouldn't randomly catch fire like what was happening with those hoverboards!

Thanks, I probably should've mentioned if you needed two it's an even better deal. I will say that unfortunately, it seems like all the medium sized frames might be out of stock. The whole reason I landed on this model, personally, was finding an e-bike that works for taller people.

Great deal here! I have the step through version of this bike. Juiced uses LG cells and Bafang motors. The brakes are cheap but they work fine. Support has been good for me.

I bought the Rip Racer deal at the end of summer and I love the bike.

That said, Juiced absolutely has quality control issues across all of their bikes. Thoroughly inspect your bike and take photos along the way if you have any issues. Stay persistent and Juiced CS should get them solved, it just may take more time and patience than you'd like.

You might want to look into a step-thru model, which are generally easier for shorter people to get on. You'll also want to look at the actual dimensions and see if the listed 'stand-over' height is a number your comfortable with. My wife can only really do step thru models, and she's of pretty average height. It looks like most of their models are on sale to some degree

Oh, I didn't think about checking out their other models. The Cross Current looks like the seat can be lower to support my short height. It's not as heavily discounted though. Thanks.

I have the XL RipCurrent S I snagged at $1399 a few months back. This has very similar specs but without the fat tires. Torque sensor is butter!

I have mine for a year now, no problems at all..I also have their Fat bike RipCurrent S 2018 model and I have close to 29,000 miles on it...only tires and brake pads have been replaced.. If you have the money, it's an excellent deal and great bike.

The step through model comes with a smaller battery 15.2AH compared. to the one that posted which comes with a 19.2AH. My friend got the step through model, the problem he is having is getting on without hitting his leg on the battery, he has lost count on how many times he's done that..hes going to install some kind of padding. I would email them and see if they can back order a small at this price.
