I rather build my on PC but this looks like a good deal to me. The 7900 XTX plus the 7800X3D alone is about $1300 buying separately
Honestly, I think I'd wait for the next generation of GPU and CPU combos.

Your combo is still relatively potent.
7800x3d is $379 atm
240mm masterliquid argb is $75
Cheapest ATX B650 is $170
Not sure what CL their ram is, but building it yourself, you'd want 30, $105
nvme have gone up, 850x hasn't been $60 in months, right now it's $85
cheapest xtx is $940
idk what 850 you're getting for $80, but if I"m building, the cheapest a-tier is $97

The case is like the only price there that's accurate $60 (but if I'm building, no way I'm sticking a 2k top-end build in a non-a rgb montech lol)

That's $1911, $1656 if you can drive to an MC, but most can't so it's not really useful for comparison. And lots don't want to build. A lot of the front page desktop deals on this site are $100-$300 above DIY, and people are good with that. You're paying about retail for the parts on this build. It's a great deal for those people.

I previously jumped on the deal from Best Buy with i9, 4070 ti, and 64 gb ram for 1900. Is this a better deal overall? That one is still in return window. Just worried about the low vram on the 4070 ti
This deal is better.
i9 is good for nothing and 64gb ram is not useful either.
Better CPU, and better GPU for everything other than ray/path tracing.

That is their base configuration and I simply edited it which you can for each of the components in this build.
S, i've often appreciated your posts and hoping/wishing you might configure a good/balanced option from cyberpower (or elsewhere) closer to $1400? I'm mainly a many tab web browser and simple Excel sheet cruncher but want to dip my toe into gaming and mostly want to future proof myself for 5+ years (unless that is a foolish tradeoff?). Have the flexibility to go up to $1800 if really worth it to get a build that isn't well into diminishing returns... I am a fan of upgradeable using quality parts vs a Dell build but am tempted by Alienware r16 if that $1250 deal comes back..

Probably just changing the Graphics card to RX 7800 XT will do that. If you're not wanting to game at 4K resolution with highest settings then 7900 XTX is not required. Further the price can be reduced by going for the Ryzen 7 7700.

I think it's pretty good for a prebuilt. Took about 5-6 hours on a new 4090 build this week and would've rather had it prebuilt as it was only $100-300 more. I hate cable management and routing.

One of the ram sticks went bad on the Cyberpower PC I got for my son.

The company wants both sticks returned (at our expense) and then 7-10 days for them to issue a replacement pair.

Needless to say this is poor customer service imo. This will render the pc useless for weeks. Anyone have any tips for escalation or experience with them?

Did it stop working or just crashing? 6400 DDR5 is really high overclock for AM5 can try running the DDR5 at stock 4800 in bios.

The pc wouldn't boot and was posting messages according to my son. He ran some memory tests and narrowed it down to one stick.

Thx for the info about downclocking. The PC I got him had ddr5 7200 ram. What should he step out down to? Same 4800?
