I have The North Face backpack but it is now at the warranty facility in Uvalde, Texas for repairing after a year of light wear. This is a nice deal on a good brand. In for one.

I love this backpack for travel except for 1 thing. The water bottle holder on the outside is basically useless for anything bigger than a standard 16.9oz disposable water bottle. The net pocket does not have enough slack on it despite the pocket it hangs off of being empty for bigger bottle to be able to 'recess' into the bag

I actually use the clip that is above it to hold my 32oz camelbak in place

I had this one but returned. The TSA scan friendly compartment's zipper is not very reliable, that it would open on its own if you happen to put the zipper opening around the top of the bag. I had to pick up my laptop and power bank from a rain puddle due to this.

My last Swissgear laptop bag I bought in mid 2022 started fraying and the material was pulling apart after the 2nd use. Even the material around the handle came completely off in less then 4 uses. You could put your finger in a hole and split sections in half with very little pressure. I don't think that is their normal quality but they must have had a bad batch. I bought a matching 22in swissgear spinner bag at the same time and it is sill in great shape. I went back to my trusty old FUL bag I got at Costco like 10 years ago.

I have stayed away from this brand as well due to having an early demise of a laptop backpack several years ago, and Swissgear basically giving me the middle finger on support.
