Is Business good for s Corp? Or should I hire CPA?

I've used Turbotax in the past and also received this email. I'm trying to understand the implications of how this affects sharing of Turbotax (non-online version), which I've done in the past with family members who each file their own returns.

So it sounds like the same Intuit account needs to be used with the provided license code for installation purposes. Now what about for e-filing purposes? I guess no one now knows for sure how this would work.

I know in the past, I had to login to my Intuit account when e-filing returns so each family member has had their own Intuit account to do the same. If Turbotax was already installed using an Intuit account, would that same Intuit account also be used for e-filing purposes? That would make sense from Intuit's point of view, but it wouldn't be good for sharing purposes because all the tax information would be stored on the same account (e.g. can download .tax files from the Intuit account).

Obviously, Intuit is trying to make it harder to share Turbotax with others. I suppose one could create a dummy Intuit account to share with others for the purposes of installation only. But that wouldn't help if the same account is needed to e-file returns because you wouldn't want that dummy account to have access to everyone's return. If an Intuit account is only needed for installation purposes, I don't mind using mine to install on the computers of other trusted family members (I don't even need to share my account credentials as I could just do the installation on their computers). But if the same account used for installation is also used for e-filing purposes, that'll be a problem. Does anyone know how this is going to work?

The individual returns can be given unique passwords under Save with Password.

Ugh I have a bunch of Amazon gift cards from Christmas but I can't use it on this deal cause the gift card blocks it from paying with another gift card.

Not clear what you mean. Do you mean that everyone with whom Turbotax is being shared with can still use their own Intuit account to e-file? Or they'll have to use the same Intuit account that was used to install Turbotax, but that same Intuit account has sub-logins to e-file different returns?

Took one of the deals, see it as a bundle, added my info, clicked button like any other order, and it popped back into some window like checkout, had other terms on top like saving items, so opened new tab to see if any order already processed and this was a duplicate, no, so just played along and clicked again and it went back to page from before, clicked button, and processed payment. Did not like that I had to re-enter my bank info to make this purchase as bought an item few hours earlier and no issues with that order.. just an odd experience.. anyone else notice the checkout was different if using computer and browser and not app on a phone?
