This is the same deal Amazon had last year. The GC is today only, meaning tomorrow TT goes back to full price and no GC. Today, TT is both on sale, and there's a $10 GC. It's the best time to buy it. My past experience is, there will be no better deal anywhere than what you see today. If you wait for a better deal you MIGHT see similar pricing at some point, but unlikely it will be lower than $35 for the Deluxe with One State version (yes, I'm considering the $10 GC as cash off the $45 price). Also, if you pay with an Amazon Visa or Store card, you get an additional 5% cashback credit.

Not only that, but waiting sucks for those who "need their $ back."

If I buy premier, can I use it for both myself and my dad? We both have some investing in stocks.

what does it mean by:

1 State via download. State e-file sold separately

what are you buying if not the ability to file it?

also does this come with a download code (emailed or wait for physical box?) or do you need a cd drive to use it?

Yes! It also supports rental income, which is what I need as well. I missed the sale on Thanksgiving so this is a great deal. Thanks OP!

Yes it can. You don't need Premier to do stock trading. It will download all the information from your brokerage.

You won't need Premier, you'll be able to do everything that you need with the Deluxe version and it handles multiple returns. Deluxe has support for investment accounts. It's a confusing thing, but I've been using Deluxe for several years now and have not needed the upsell version of Premier.

You won't need Premier, you'll be able to do everything that you need with the Deluxe version and it handles multiple returns. Deluxe has support for investment accounts. It's a confusing thing, but I've been using Deluxe for several years now and have not needed the upsell version of Premier.

You get one state software free to file your state return. You have to pay a filing fee, which I've always hated, if you want to file electronically. You can print and file your state return via the mail as an option and not pay the electronic filing fee. If I remember right, it was about $20-$25 to file the state electronically.

Just FYI, you can do rental income via the Deluxe version as well. Premier doesn't give you much more to help in that regard.

When I purchased mine today I have the option of just getting deluxe for $35 or getting deluxe Plus a $10 gift card for $45.
