I went back and looked at my last 5 years ordering premier and it was $55 every year. This isn't a deal you are just paying for the gift card.

If you pay to e-file state, both cost effectively the same. If you don't e-file state and have no use for the $10 TurboTax credit, then Amazon is the better deal. (In 2021 Amazon had a price mistake on Premier so it was priced the same as Deluxe for several hours.)

Thinking about ordering this in case the fidelity deal doesnt work. I have a large non-ira account with fidelity and made over the minimum required trades, whatever it is, but i am only getting the offer for 20% off. if i order this CD, can i return it for free? the amazon site does not say free returns for the disk and gift card bundle, instead it says
"Returnable until Jan 31, 2024". that links to a super generic site, does it mean i may have to pay to return it?

i have never tried deluxe but the premier version offers a lot of guidance, unfortunately some of it is still ambiguous to me, and it does not handle foreign dividends well at all, it makes you do some kind of work around which is very counter intiuitive and frankly i could not even get to work.

When I used Premier, I found the guidance not very helpful. It was very basic. I have not regretted using Deluxe the last several years.

How did you apply no rush reward? I don't see the option to use it and it did not apply automatically like when you buy digital movies.

Edit: Digital credit can be applied only to the one without $10 gift card.

Deluxe imports the investment transactions from your brokerage site. No need to hand enter any of the transactions.

I think you can export a file from the online version and import it into the desktop version
