It funny how they say it's ready for 40:1 or 50:1, but they don't actually tell you. It's either a little lean or a little rich for one of those.
The only ethanol-free gas at the pump near me is VP Racing* 110 octane racing fuel for $9.99/gal. I only use Husqvarna synthetic 2-cycle oil that works out at $2.50 gallon.
That's ~$12.50/gal. With Lowe's gift cards at 15% off, this works out to < $6/gal. I bought about 1/2 the inventory at the three nearest stores. which will only last me about two years and about two years before the expiration date.
There is a reason my 2-cycle outdoor power equipment lasts for decades. Many times being cheap is not the least expensive path.
*Same company that makes these pre-mixed cans. After that, the nearest ethanol-free gas station is Sunoco Premium 91 > an hour away

I guess it really is just looking at a cost-benefit analysis over time.
You are paying over three times what it cost for E10 and standard synthetic 2-stroke oil.
You believe you get more longevity out of the tools, but that would really need a controlled test to tell what the difference in longevity is.
If you were a professional that ran the tools a lot, you'd very likely save more on fuel than the perceived difference in longevity. Either way, glad you found a more reasonable alternative than buring 110 octane in a weedeater.
What I usually do is refill the cans once empty with a mix I make with ethanol free fuel that I can get locally. The cans are much easier to pour into small weed eaters/blowers etc than the gallon plus sized jugs.
Now that I have extra cans I'll give the empty ones to a friend so he can do the same thing.

Same here, the last 3 orders that I did online ending up where they could not find the product when I went to pick it up...NOT GOOD! If the site allows you to place the order, they should have to make good on it. 5 on the shelf, many near the CS area...just not enough to fill my order.
If it is in a sealed unopened container with not begin to break down. The problem occurs once it is opened and oxygen and moisture is introduced. Yes it isn't as stable as the old lead filled killya gas but it is good in those none breathable sealed metal containers.

Everything else I use is battery powered these days, including the little 10" chain saw that's actually adequate for most of what I do. Back in the day when everything used a small 2-stroke engine I mixed my own gas of course, but I can't be bothered anymore. And if you find this on clearance, why not. And this is ethanol-free, which is rare at gas stations around here.
