I got this recently at the same price and I really like it. Other than being a little short, it's sturdy, the feet are metal, the doors slide well and even have a small piece of plastic to adjust how smooth it slides/resistance. I'm tempted to get another one as a coffee table.

Just needs a shag rug, wood panel walls, and an orange lamp shade and boom baby, you've got your 1960s living room time capsule complete!

My 85 inch TV weighs just about 100lbs, I would recommend checking your tv weights especially if you have other things like sound bars or gaming consoles on the TV stand.

80" is a pretty long entertainment center (6'8"), but the 100lb weight limit in the specs is misleading: it's 100 pounds for the top of each half, and 33lbs per inside shelf, so could theoretically hold over 320lbs.

For the poster who has one already, if you set it up lengthwise, how is the stability? Did it come with any sort of anchoring system?

Not sure why the deal was marked dead. I still see the coupon on both versions when I look on the app as of 3:17pm Eastern on 12/28.

Pretty rare to find an 85" TV stand, they almost never exist. Had to build my own for my 85" tv

I just put this together. It's GREAT. Applause

Solid, easy to put together, good packaging (and it came in ONE day). It's at least as good as IKEA stuff. Not a super-high bar I realize, but at this price, $120ish, it's killer. I can't believe this came from stupid Walmart.

It's the perfect 85" TV stand, both in terms width, height, and depth (edit: maybe not so much on the depth, see comment below). It will hold the 100 lb of the TV, easily. However, I'm going to wall mount my 85" TV above it (w/hidden-in-wall cabling), so it's job will be to hold the sound bar on top and the Playstation/cable modem/etc. in the cubbies.

If you've got an 85" TV and can hang with the mid-mod "style," buy it!

Thanks, OP. Smilie

Not sure if all comments praising this stand are real or not, but at less than 14in width, you just CANNOT put any 85in TV directly on top of this, as 85in TV's legs are much wider than 14in.

You're right. It's great if you're wall-mounting your TV up above it (which I am doing), but most 85" TV stand legs will be >14" depth. Good for everyone to keep in mind.
