I recently noticed that Audible offers a lot of good stuff for free. I'm currently reading the Joe Gunther mysteries by Archer Mayor. Solid stories and an outstanding narrator (Tom Taylorson).
I don't know if they are still free (ie., you get an "Add to Library" button instead of a "Buy" button) but if they are, I highly recommend them. Here's the first in the series.
The only question I have about these "Add to Library" deals is what happens to them if you halt your Audible subscription. You own the ones you paid money or credits for, of course, but do you own these freebies or might they go away if you quit Audible?
I don't have an active sub and had the add to library option, I was worried after I may have been charged, but didn't find a charge under 'digital orders'

They still appear in your library but you no longer have access to them.
