I think I got this system for under $600 a few months ago as a warehouse deal. It's fun but the battery doesn't last very long. Haven't touched it since the first week but I don't really have time to play games to begin with
The pass-through camera is a great feature though. Especially fun to use with the 3D doodle art, whatever that's called. I used that to plan some furniture placement in my office

Any chance you know how this compares to the meta quest 3?
Quest 3 is a better buy overall i bought it for my kid and even im playing it here and there. Its pretty fun and the lens look really clear and good. Im personally waiting for valves next headset. Should be coming out in a year or 2. And its going to be wireless just like the meta quest. Can't wait til its announced. Definitely going to be a day 1 buy.
I cannot put quest2 on my head with glasses without a fight. it is much easier to do with quest3. it is more big head friendly.
you can also get made to order prescription lenses for the Q3 and not have to worry about wearing your glasses at all, thus increasing the perceived FOV of the headset to boot since your eyes will be right up against the lenses as designed
I love how the Quest 3 is not only a better product than the majority of current VR options, it's also significantly cheaper at full price.
lol yeah I was a little bitter after getting the Quest 3 since it almost turned my Quest Pro into a paper weight, but since both Steam VR and Virtual desktop now support eye tracking to help with wireless streaming performance, I'm ok with the Quest Pro again
Sweet, ty think I might finally cave in for a meta quest 3 coming from the oculus rift cv1. Hope it's a pretty sweet upgrade from back then.
If your cv1 is still in pristine condition, I'd strongly recommend sticking with it for PCVR. I will say the quest 3 display looks amazing, but the tracking is really bad compared to the cv1.

It's really good. Has pass through which works very well.
Battery life is kind of meh.
We are more casual gamers which is what pushed us toward the quest vs the psvr2.
I'm happy with it. 7th Guest is my favorite so far. It seems to be almost completely updated though I'm only a little ways into it so far.
