Do yourself a favor and don't buy this or any other 4070/80 class product until the price cuts in 2 weeks when the supers launch. Waste of money. This isn't a deal.

Will the supers actually cut prices?? I feel like it wouldn't really change much.

Lol. You think they'll actually cut prices? They'll just overcharge for the Supers and call it a day. People are still buying since the alternatives are not a threat.

i think people are getting too hopeful about the supers. Being thirsty for decent prices for so long will do that to a person. It's absolutely possible it may, but the certainty that people are saying it will happen is naive.

For the rest of this year I am with in-laws near a microcenter. I'm really hoping within the next couple of days that it pops up on sale there. If it gets below $500 I'm buying instantly.

There's a Zotac one on sale for $525 there. Not the best, but that's almost the same price as a 7800XT. I'm also planning to get one at Microcenter for my brother next time I visit Dallas.

Yup, I've been watching that. I am not sure how much I love Zotac.

We are an hour away from the microcenter and my wife will be in the city with the microcenter tomorrow so hopefully it pops up before tomorrow evening. I was really hoping there was going to be some boxing day deals.
