Sam's club will have TurboTax Premier and other versions on sale starting Dec. 28th matching the Amazon and Costco deals with $10 credit towards in-product purchases. The reason this deal could be better for some if you have 10% cash back offer from Chase Credit cards. I have it on my Chase Freedom.

For those who are sharing tt with family,
"To install and activate TurboTax 2023 on your computer, you'll be prompted to sign in to your existing Intuit Account (or create an account if you don't already have one) before entering your license code. The software won't install unless you sign in to your Intuit account online. Importantly, your product license code can only be associated with one Intuit account."

Looks better than the Amazon deal since this has the $10 in purchase credit.

Nevermind - Amazon deal was $65 plus $10 amazon GC, but it's expired now.

How do you share with other people then? It has 5 Federal returns, correct?

Question--$10 can be used to upgrade product. How much does it cost to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier? The Deluxe version comes with $10 credit for upgrade, so wondering if cheaper to buy Deluxe and upgrade than buy Premier outright. I wouldn't have use for Premier + $10 credit because it would still cost to e-file state (I believe) so would so that by regular mail.

Anyone sharing that Inuit account can access tax data stored within that account. So, if you don't mind others seeing or sharing your data, 5 different people with access to 1 Inuit account might be able to share a license and file 5 returns separately

Download version only stores data locally and won't upload tax info.

I have never done it, so I'm trying to figure out the same. We used to share one copy among 3 f&f. They want to stop sharing. So, if anyone knows how to share a license code without sharing tax details, please post.

TurboTax (Intuit) is the reason you have to pay to file taxes. At least not easily by yourself for free.

The only "real deal" on the TT was on 12/27/2023 that was the same price plus $10 gift card. The Fed e-filing is already for free. The state taxes can still be filed via snail mail for couple off bucks mailing fee.

Everything else is a consolation prize and should be treated as such.

Also, an almost free option. If you have a Fidelity account(s) check to see if you balance qualifies you for a Turbotax download for $5.

Many states have free efile directly through their website. That may be more or less work than printing or mailing depending on your perspective. Don't waste money on state e-file fees! List here: https://thefinancebuff.com/free-e...irect.html

Same deal at Costco:
https://www.costco.com/turbotax-premier-2023-federal-+-e-file-&-state-download-for-pc/mac,-includes-$10-credit-in-product*.product.4000226930.html

I think offer lasts until Jan. 21

BTW, New York state requires software companies to provide free state efile if their software provides federal efile.

H&R block does NOT support Form 8911 Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit .I confirmed with them .

So better go with TurboTax or Other free software . Imagine how many other could be missing in H&R tax software which we are not aware of .Learned the hard way
