As an owner of both brands, I can say they're virtually identical in every way. There's absolutely no reason to spend more on the MTM version.

Springfield MO Costco had these today. Showed 72 in stock. Worker said they just came in as a new item to be put out.
How can you see how many are in stock?

Unless theres a fire
If there's a fire, the ammo is cooking off the same in metal as plastic. If anything, there'll be less shrapnel from plastic, since plastic melts.

So yeah, again, there's absolutely no reason not to store your ammunition in plastic "ammo cans" as long as they have gaskets and are from a quality US company.

Yes. I purchased 4 of the Greenmade 27 Gallon bins last week in NorCal (Hayward Costco). They're $8.99/each. Plenty of them in stock.
This is the normal pricing. Usually around this time of the year they will mark it down about 1 to 1.5 dollars per container. Keep an eye out and maybe you can price match in the next 30 days.

The desperation to NOT call these what they actually are, (ammo cans - precisely) is comical.

Was at the warehouse and when they looked it up on the computer they told me how many they had in hand. They hadn't put them on the floor yet...still in receiving.

I would suggest the MTM Case-Gard version called an AC4C. Much better quality and Made in the U.S.A.
At over twice the cost.

Anyone store cards in these? Specifically graded or cards in toploaders?
