I've only seen the refurb on the Apple store at the same price, they actually have some right now in stock. They sold out quick after the M3 release, but I guess a new supply has shown up.

Cheaper option is the M1 Pro Apple certified refurb at Microcenter if you have one nearby for about $1250. But the M2 Pro is about 15% faster and has wifi 6E and the upgraded HDMI port if that's worth the $350.

Some local Costcos might have this in store for that same price. Saw one at my store last week, in space gray though but same price. I bought this device earlier in the month in silver from the online deal and it's great. The new M3 deals are probably the way to go, for a bit more money.
