Bought two at 50. Was going to give my dad one for his walk way but after testing it out, I'd say it's worth $20 at best. It works best for very light to light snow, but a normal light shovel is faster for that. Save your 💰.

as a pro snow shoveler these definitely do help speed things up with fresh snow. however u need good upper body strength to hold it up and work it along. it also helps work different muscles than just shoveling which helps a lot too.

I bought one for $50 but have been dismayed to see absolutely no snowfall on Long Island so far this season. But not as dismayed as I am about the $1000 I spent on winter tires...

These are junk. You would be better off spending your money elsewhere. I bought one last year with high hopes to use on my walkway and porch but it can't handle even a few inches of snow and if it is wet and heavy really forget about it. I suppose if you just get light dusting of powder this might be ok but otherwise I would find something else.

Have one of these in North Dakota. It came in pretty handy a few times last year with fresh cold snow - I was pretty impressed with how much it could do (had low expectations). I didn't have a snowblower so going out with this periodically during a blizzard helped a ton. With deeper stuff I could break it apart with a shovel and then use this to fling the snow over the 4' snowbank.

With wet snow I assume it would work poorly. Obviously it's plastic so is likely to break if you hit a rock or are dumb enough to use it on the hard pack plow ridge, though most single-stage snowblowers with plastic paddles are worthless on that too. I had originally purchased for my elderly mother, but she just couldn't handle it - it still takes some strength and coordination, but sure saved my back.

$119 is a little high still, but at least it's new and not refurbed. They have a good warranty if it breaks in the first year.
