I bought this during the last sale and as long as you follow the installation directions and pre-drill your holes, you shouldn't have any trouble with it. The included hardware isn't the best in the world, so make sure you are using the correct sized bits and sockets. Use caution when drilling into the wood top that you don't drill through the top. The hardest thing to install was the bracket for the soft-close damper, just hard to get a good angle with your bit to secure it.

Any comments on the wood? $63 shipped is a pretty good deal for a 48x20 piece of butcher block.

Specs say the weight is 40lbs so should be a nice piece of wood.

What's the best option for understanding where electrical lines run? Where I'd want to mount this is very close to my electrical panel.

Is there any way to order more the 3 limit? I need 16. I guess the only way to do that is go over to SafeRacks and purchase at 99.99.

32" between mount points so it'll line up with standard studs just fine.

The Walmart one is better for $85 without the shocks. They will give out in time and the Walmart one is a metal mechanism. https://www.walmart.com/ip/WORKPR...BmEALw_wcB

Get a stud finder with live wire sensor. They run about $20 at L/HD.
But if you know where your studs are, you shouldn't be in any danger of an electrical accident.

Anyone use this for occasional woodworking or DIY stuff? Nothing major but wanted something like this for the garage. I already have cabinets on wall
