My stores locally worked in the app up until about a year ago, they stopped and not one coupon has worked since. Many, many subways around, but none that take coupons until I get 43 miles away.

I have not eaten at subway since. Now it's Firehouse subs or Publix for me. Both cheaper and much better tasting so Subway is out now unless I'm traveling somewhere that takes coupons again! As a note I am not in a major metro area or anything either.

Call and ask if they take coupons, then go to the store and use the coupon and don't tell them you have a coupon until you pay. There you go.

Last time I used this they made one of my sandwiches without meat, just a lake of mayo, veggies, and cheese. When they do make the order correctly it's still not a very good sandwich. Never again, Subway.

It's 50/50 for me on how packed my subs end up. Some they have troubles even closing the sandwich, others it's like the toppings were coming out of their own paycheck.

For those who aren't aware, Subway has mandated that all locations accept all coupons effective today (Dec 28).

This, unfortunately, will make the Subway SlickDeals threads around 50% shorter as that's usually what is discussed here about Subway (the other 50% being that Subway sucks), but at least the battle is half over.

Ugh. From the linked article, a private equity firm is involved. Private equity in general has a horrible reputation right now, and deservedly so.

Yes, 2 of 3 locations here closed and the one left puts less fillings.

That would explain why mine could barely be considered sandwiches with how much they (didn't) put in them.
