I know Patagonia makes nice stuff, but $58 for a polyester shirt seems steep.
I think the insulated Patagonia stuff is great but you're just paying for the name on this. 20 bucks for a no name equivalent from tj Maxx, etc.
Agree, if it was cotton might be a better deal, poly is crap

I got this during the recent sale 2 weeks ago and can confirm this is top quality. Feels just as comfortable as the better sweater without too much of an "outerwear" feeling.

Yeah but why not merino wool at this price.

It's REI and patagonia i.e. outdoor activity, not for wearing to your inlaws lol. You're going to feel like shit if you're exercising outdoors in the cold in cotton.

Good price, nice product. Just small size available though.
There's often a cheap product available.. (to above posts - Go buy fake watches and junk sweatshirts if you want.)

Really? At this price I'd buy other branded products with much better materials (not cheap plastic) e.g organic brushed cotton, plenty of sizes/colors and for sure it will make this product look fake in comparison. Just an example before any coupons is listed below.

Do you believe that sustainable and ethical fashion is important? How do you incorporate these principles into your fashion choices?

I'm surprised to see all of you sleeping on the Better Sweater. It's damn good, and Patagonia is a solid company.
