With that said, I found books just ok. The pacing and focus from chapter to chapter is almost jarring with long, slow parts and then something major happens and huge change in an event or outcome and many plot/story holes.
I never felt convinced with some of the back story, but "Shift" was definitely my favorite book in series.
Good deal, but slightly overrated book series imo.

On that note, I felt the ending of Dust was a bit sudden and unsatisfying.
Meh. I thought the 1st season was pretty boring and didn't really feel right at all.

Okay now explain the different versions of the book. The one I got from the library started with some House member designing the silos and spoiling what was going on, but the audiobook version I had followed what I saw on Apple TV pretty closely. š¤š
