With that said, I found books just ok. The pacing and focus from chapter to chapter is almost jarring with long, slow parts and then something major happens and huge change in an event or outcome and many plot/story holes.
I never felt convinced with some of the back story, but "Shift" was definitely my favorite book in series.
Good deal, but slightly overrated book series imo.

I have to also say that the show was crap. I know bookies say this all the time, but this time it's true. The show was 4/10
