strong but not stiff. they can hold the weight advertised. they will just sag like a wet noodle. i also have trashed 3 of these.

Can confirm; they sag pretty much immediately. Returned several of these to Sam's.

These seem stiffer than some other plastic shelves I've bought at Walmart for $60. I'm standing next to this same product at Lowe's for $89.99 "was $104.98"

I solved my sagging problem by using a piece of 2x4 in the middle with a few drill holes and some zip ties to hold it in place. I thinking about building some square blocks but the single 2x4 works descent for now

BJ's sells a 36" x 18" shelf for $30 that can hold a similar amount of weight. Probably a better deal for most people - Berkeley Jensen 4-tier shelf.

Yep, same. I had some spare wood lying around and I just placed a few boards in between the posts. It works fine for my needs.
