Stupid good price on this set if you need some lightweight dumbbells!
Got these during Black Friday sale. Walmart ships each dumbbell individually. All of them except a single 20lb arrived—OnTrac lost the last 20lb package. When I contacted Walmart about the lost package, they immediately refunded me the cost of the single 20lb at the sale price, which came out to be around $18, but it costs more than $18 to buy an individual 20lb dumbbell. So if any of your packages get lost in transit, I would recommend asking customer support up front to ship you a new one if you want to go that route—otherwise they'll just refund you and you're out some individual dumbbell that costs more to buy now.
I don't know you but I can guarantee I lift heavier than you as I'm in the somewhat elite 400/500/600 club. I can also tell you don't lift heavy because of your attitude and ignorance of accessory movements that would keep you healthy enough to actually pick up heavy weight.
There are some rotator cuff exercises that I would be hard pressed to lift over 25 pounds for my working sets. I find a 5-25 pound set fits nicely with my 180 pound Ironmaster dumbbells considering the lowest weight with the heavy handless installed is 20 pounds and an extra handle set, which would cover the 5-20 is almost 3x the price of these dumbbells. Plus the 5 pound dumbbells make a nice doorstop.

I got my set from Costco for $300 and it came with a rack. Went from 5lb to 30lb
You could probably get this set and buy the 30lbs separately. It will probably be like $179. But having the rack is nice, not sure how much you could get a rack for but I'm guessing $40. So it could save you some money doing it that way
Yes . if you have space. Light weight can go a long way for a beginner. With the right form most of the upper body exercises don't need heavy weight ( no ego lift).
Great deal. I have these and like them. I bought them with the vertical rack for $200 on sale at Amazon and thought that was a great deal, but this is obviously a better deal since you can buy the racks (CAP or WF or Caphaus all good) on Amazon for under $35-$45, depending on the color you want, they all seem to be made at the same factory. The rack is durable and floor space-saving. I did wind up buying eight pound weights and ditching the five since I had 5's on another rack with lighter weights...
