Didn't exist before, this is the first standalone app and a big deal because before AI was only available with Bing or Microsoft edge so no more need to have either crappy app just for AI feature.

This also includes ChatGPT 4.0 and AI image creation which are typically $20 a month or whatever through openAI

I wouldn't say it does everything for me, but it certainly speeds up my programming and modeling. It's like having a really fast super-senior data engineer to bounce questions off of.

I also had it write a story about my son. I had to prompt it to give more detail in certain parts and I added some ideas, so in the end I had basically a children's book, but around all the things my son likes. Then I gave it a picture and started asking it to illustrate some of the scenes, in comic fantasy illustrations. Now my son has his own story and he can see himself doing these adventures.

Tons of fun to work on and I learned a lot.

Can you vaguely say what all these people do for living? In my line of work tools like tis has minimal value.

Your reply cost water and energy to write, it cost water and energy to read. If you want to stand on your box, you should live it and not participate in anything wasteful either. By your own metric, painting for yourself is wasteful (water, pigment, canvas), writing in a diary is wasteful (ink, paper), etc.

It's funny we,ve been seeing AI movies and getting warnings about AI for years but still people are all for it not heeding the many warnings given and shown to us in movies, TV shows, books, etc...

Guarantee people are still going to be surprised at what happens even with all the movies, tv, and books already giving warning to AI

Here's the difference:

ChatGPT is a natural language processing technology that uses machine learning, deep learning, natural language understanding, and natural language generation to answer questions or respond to conversations. Developed by OpenAI, an AI and research company, ChatGPT was launched in November 2022. It is available as an API that can be integrated into different applications 2.
On the other hand, Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered digital assistant that aims to provide personalized assistance to users for a range of tasks and activities. Copilot doesn't just connect ChatGPT with Microsoft 365; it combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with your data in the Microsoft Graph (including your calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings, and more) and the Microsoft 365 apps to turn your words into the most powerful productivity tool on the planet 2.
In terms of using Copilot with Bing or ChatGPT 4, it's important to note that ChatGPT 4 is a more advanced version of ChatGPT that is normally priced at $20 a month. However, you can use it for free through Microsoft's Copilot AI 1. Microsoft Bing Chat also gets ChatGPT-4 Turbo for free, which is an upgraded version of ChatGPT-4 3.

Programming - it corrects code and can write code for you. Resume - it corrects vocabulary and can create the whole resume for you. School projects/essays - you give it requirements and it writes up the project/essay for you. And a lot more. You can go to YouTube and find lots of videos that explain how to use it. also, for school projects, you can say write it as a 5-year-old or 10-year-old and will write it based on that requirement.
