Best kept secret for bulk fasteners is tractor supply. They charge by the pound and they are about 20% the cost of your average hardware store.

Id suggest everyone pass on no name screws from Amazon. The heads shear off super easy on cheap ones.

Those lowes clearance machine screws are not stainless as far as I could tell. The price is decent for steel, but that stainless hardware on amazon is a better deal for those whoneed it.

Yeah, that was one of my choices along with the black lag bolts which are about the same price as buying from HD/Lowes but with free washers and a (cheap) box.
