Two children should fit fine, but you would need a bigger one to squeeze in two adults. Most likely legs would be hanging outside.
I just got my 800 delivered from Best Buy. It's free install, but I told them just to leave it and I'll install it myself. It might take me some extra time, but I can't stand how many shortcuts these outsourced third party install services use when they are contracted for install.
Great price for Bosch dishwasher that includes delivery and installation. If you buy it from other places like BB, HD, Lowes, there is usually a $150-$200 installation charge.

The 800 will be significantly quieter

Is that the only difference between the two of them?

Is this just as all stainless steel inside just like the 800 series? Or less so?

So how does it dry the dishes if no heating element ?
It depends on the moisture condensing on the inside walls and dripping to the bottom. With the dishes getting so hot from the heater water during washing, the water easily evaporates off the dishes. Cups with a dished bottom will collect water and will be wet but everything else is dry.

I'm still using a $250 delivered 10 year old SD Bosch washer. Starting to lose a few rack tines from rust, but otherwise still an awesome DW. Does such a good job and we don't have to pre-rinse the dishes before putting them in.

Of course not. Many differences. For example this one does not open door automatically after done.

It depends on rinse aid to sheet most of the water off, and circulates fresh air through to lower the moisture level inside the dishwasher.

I have an older Bosch that does this and everything except plastics come out dry. We don't mind it at all and the washing performance of the machine far outclasses the lack of drying plastics.
Plus the bonus is that any rack can be used for "top shelf" items. If you need to clean a bunch of plastics, you can use the whole thing.

Overall I find that the Bosch isn't any worse at drying than any other dishwasher, but it's far better at cleaning (and being quiet) than anything else out there.

Thank you for responding. Will try to hold off for 800. Hoping that the pump in my current samsung survives until 800 series goes on sale again.

Had an 800 at our previous house (brand new) and then another one that was only a few months old at current home, now for several years. Wife hates them both because of how wet dishes are - even with using jet dry. So stupid these don't have a heated drying element. This one hasn't been cleaning so great as of late either, possibly due to hard-ish water.

Not discounting your experience, but I bought an 800 a few months ago and it dries everything quite well, including plastics. I wonder what would cause the difference. We use Jet Dry but don't have hard water just for reference.

I'm sure it's a night and day difference. But this version or save for the Bosch 800?

I can't speak for the 100 but the 800 series is great. What is the db of this? Mine is 42 or 44, whisper quiet.
