Regularly these are around $30 so this is a nice deal. I got one as a gift and keep it at office. It keeps bottles at 6-7 C (normal fridges are set at 4 C, measured by putting a meat thermometer inside), but takes at least overnight to cool to that temp. It uses significantly more energy compared to a theoretically same size fridge but since it is a very small form factor, comparison is kinda apples vs oranges. It constantly works to cool and constantly spins its fan, and if you put it at a high temp place it may be useless (my office is kept at 20 C). Supposedly uses 48W (or 40 if powered through car 12V outlet). Can be handy for long trips but I found using ice is much more practical. At work it is useful especially if you have food stealing coworkers from the shared fridge, you can keep this under your desk.
I've had two of these and they last about a year before the fan dies.
my last one died after the weekend (lasted 2 days)

That is not how 3P warranties on small items work. They may hassle you to get a repair estimate but in all likelihood they will either reimburse a purchased replacement item or just pay you the purchase price you originally paid.
That has been my experience with small value items and extended warranties, especially from big retailers. They may just ship you out a replacement one, or reimburse you for the value of the original price.

Please don't buy this type of landfill garbage. Bad for your wallet and environment.

If you read the instructions on it. You're not supposed to run it 24/7. I have it as a small fridge on my bar that is only used for parties. It's lasted years

Does it have a on / off switch or do you have to unplug it each time you use it?

How long does it keep things chilled after turning it off?

I was searching for a miniature fridge the other day on Amazon and found a lot of failures, noise and other problems with just about every brand model. If it could fit a water bottle and keep it somewhat chilled; I'd probably get one of these things. But the room I'm in is above normal temperatures as a second floor old school room. With a projector on a lot of times and tinnitus in both ears from a TBI, I'm thinking these things might not work to keep things chill, be too noisy or be a waste of money by dying too soon.

What are your thoughts?
