Paid $129 during the pre black Friday sale. This is a handy little vac, I'm using it every day and surprised at how long the little 2AH battery lasts. Just don't expect "shop-vac" power.

NYC Home Depot's never get these sales, but I'll still check it out when I go there. Thanks.

I've had one of these for a year. Super handy vac for outdoors and around the house. Works better than the old massive ones you have to plug into a wall or shop vac. Great for cleaning out the car.

I have one. It's the most worthless vacuum I have ever used. I have it on my pontoon boat to clean up the carpet and it has no power at all. The positive comments have me wondering if I got a bad one... I can't even imagine anyone being happy with the suction power. It's faster and less frustrating to pick up tiny crumbs by hand.

It works pretty well on hard surfaces but I wouldn't recommend it for carpet. It doesn't have a power head or any kind of rug beater.

I have been using this for more than 6 years, very handy. Highly recommend getting a Cyclonic Vacuum Attachment, save lots of time …

Ive had this same vacuum (has semi transparent blue plastic) for more than 7 years now (probably bought it on a slick deal, but mught have just researched around for a good product, I honestly can't recall). It is amazing. The battery still works and it is incredibly powerful for a hand vac. The semi-transparent blue plastic will eventually get some cracks in it where you plug the tube into it. But it is a small cosmetic defect at that point and doesn't affect the structural support or take away from the vacuum power.

(A few tips, if you dont change the easily replaceable filter often, after you empty the vac, the first time you turn it on, some dust will shoot out the sides. Just open the door and turn it on for 2 seconds outside to remedy this. This is better than other Maktita models in power, and I really like that you can see how full it is with the transparent plastic.)

Edit:
I highly, highly recommend this vac! I use it on wood floors only tho, I wouldn't imagine it working too terribly well on carpet tho..

I have this vac on a similar deal from Acme this summer. I work installing interior acoustic products, markerboards, pin boards in office/classroom settings. For the bits of dust we create screwing into walls, attaching trim, etc this is a great lightweight vac. Would I expect it to clean an entire job site, no. Better than average on carpet, not Dyson worthy, and doesn't have a beater bar/rotating brush. For a lightweight vac that gets 90% of my mess cleaned up without bending over or on my knees, worth every penny of $100.

Terrible terrible terrible product. I bought this in a combo pack. the plastic is so cheap it will break 100% no matter how light you use it. I love makita brand for tools, but this one is trashhhh.

Mine is the same way. Pretty disappointed considering everything else that I have made by Makita is top shelf.
