Thanks for posting this! Was looking for a work chair w/ neck support. Most 'cheapies' are about the $90-120 range. At least this company sells many chairs compared to the other one-offs.
It's plastic. Plastic flexes, especially at the bend where the back frame meets the tilt mechanism assembly. Your neck and lower back will be in pain without a solid support.
Did you really read reviews? Most are nonsense, one complaints that it's uncomfortable for tall people and next tell that he is 6'4" and very comfortable.

Steelcase chairs are mostly plastic too, but are super comfy. I wouldn't make a blanket assumption that plastic chairs are low quality.
