Having said that I dont like the idea of annual payment and getting tied to the service. I am thinking to give visible a try at $20 per month and see if I face any data issues. If so, go back to US mobile and get the annual plan. Else continue $20 on Visible.
After 3 months, regular rates apply for all of Mint's plans.
Note that the Wi-Fi calling needs to be enabled when you are in US. Not after you leave the country.
