Don't use st Ives apricot scrub. Use chemical exfoliants instead like salicylic acid, glycolic acid, etc. Main thing is wash your face twice a day, moisturize and apply sun screen. All else is icing on the cake

Get the real stuff. This retinol doesn't work or just too weak. The serums are typically about the same price and more effective. Either that or just go with actual differin or some generic that does not require a prescription. I used this retinol for almost 6 months and saw minimal change.

Any specific product/brand you recommend?

Why post this shit without any suggestions? If we knew what you know we wouldn't be buying this stuff.

Differin for OTC. Tretinoin for Rx.

If you actually have real acne differin or any generic adapalene will work. Plus once you get rid of it you can use it forever. What retinol does it it increases cell turnover so you're constantly renewing skin cells. If you use it consistently and long enough it will give you that paper skin look. Any brand will work but look for concentrated retinol not this mixture stuff. The inky has a good retinol product if actual adapalene is too rough. Just remember to use moisturizer and sunscreen.
