All three TVs were fried. I filed a claim with Tripp Lite, including proof of purchase and even a copy of the letter we received from the power company stating the cause of the power surge.
Tripp Lite asked me to send in the surge protectors for analysis. They denied the claim, stating that analysis showed that all three were operating properly and showed no signs of a power surge. Yet all three TVs had fried power supply circuit boards.
I only buy APC from now on.

Because if this thing catches fire and the worst should happen, many insurance companies won't pay out a dime if the item that started the fire isn't UL certified.
I wonder how many chargers/plugs that come with various devices may not be UL certified.

It's in one of the pictures of the product's underside. Also if you search reviews, people mention that only the 12 outlet version has the lower and more desirable 330v/400v clamping voltage.
7 outlet version boosts it to 400/500 clamping, 4500 joules!!!
