Intel has no answer for this chip. Currently

They just slap a "Gaming CPU" label on the the xx700/xx900K cpu and hope no one actually looks at real gaming benchmarks

Anyone use this for a multi-monitor streaming setup? If so how does it do compared to a 12700k? Game at 1440p 165hz and stream at 1080p 60

I'm not saying not instore pickup, I'm saying they typically (AFAIK) don't price match local/in-store only deals if there isn't a microcenter nearby. If people have had a different experience and was able to without a near-by microcenter, then actually that's cool to know for future reference.

FWIW, I got in on this deal and the closest microcenter is about 110 miles away.

I agree. I think ryzen 8000 will be a significant jump, and let's say someone has ryzen 5000, it would make more sense to upgrade to 8000 than 7000. For me a ryzen 9 5900x would be a nice upgrade for me but the 7800x3d is actually 10-20% slower compared to the 5900x in some applications I use so it wouldn't be that much of an upgrade for me to spend more than double to upgrade platforms.
