If you're a Prime member, Dean Koontz's book, The Bad Weather Friend, will be available to read for free on February 1st. I read all his books but as long as there are two others I want to read, I'll wait and read his next month. I usually wait until close to the end of the month to see reviews anyway.

I do that and I also check reviews on Goodreads. They are usually a little more thorough.
