I have these too. The front pockets are a cut a little weird but pretty warm. I wore these with some Underarmour baselayer and was pretty comfortable standing outside for 8-10 hours in 20 degree weather. This has pretty good wind protection and excellent rain protection. I would use these to snowblow or ski. Very flexible.

My big issue is that a few threads are starting to come loose and the velcro for the back pocket is super strong. It takes a bit of force to open it so I covered the velcro.

I am definately going to pick up another pair.
