I'm a fairly new nurse with way too many pairs of shoes, and have been avoiding Hoka's like the plague. I'm just not a fan of the colorways; too ornate for me. Anyways, I broke down and bought a pair of the Rincon 3 recently, and right out of the box, they were extremely comfortable. At times, it seems like too much cushion, but at the end of a shift, My feet hurt less with the Rincons. I do not have experience with Cliftons at all though.

incorrect, women's shoes use a different last -- narrower (B width) and sometimes a different arch profile + heel counter.

My son runs about about 40-50 miles a week and the Hoka Rincon soles wear down pretty quickly since it's mostly foam with a very small rubber treadwear. Brooks and Saucony outsole seem to last a little longer than the Rincons.

You're correct, they can be. I've come across a lot of unisex shoes so perhaps it differs from one manufacturer to another

Anyone know how these compare to the Bondi 8?

I picked up a pair of Bondi 8's on the recent Costco deal and was surprised by how "firm" the Bondi 8 was. I was a long time Bondi runner, but my last couple of pairs of Hokas have been Stensons. Coming back to the Bondi I was surprise by how firm they felt. I'm looking for a softer running shoe that does a good job of absorbing the impacts.

I'm going to recommend the Asics Gel Nimbus 25 if you like squishy. Crazy soft and comfy for my use case (not a runner)

i have both but don't note any significant difference. but i only use them for regular wear (can't run due to a foot issue).
Wish I could help. I like the Stinson for road and speedgoat for rocky steep trails
I tried the Clifton road and trail and didn't love them as much, but everyone's feet and preferences vary.

Adidas UltraBoost... Nice cushioning. I have Hoka and it's just blown up foam which doesn't give a lot of cushioning under the feet. Feels like walking on a hard piece of thermocol.

Hoka Mach series is good with the Pro Fly + cushioning. The Bondi or Rincon series might be good for very heavy people.
