Brushed nickel is the same price as black, from what I can see.
I put one of these Ensenior fans up in our TV room and have been pleased with it overall. The light gets very bright if needed, and being able to adjust the color temp along with brightness is a nice feature. Build quality is good, not spectacular. The remote feels a little cheap.
The only complaint is that the fan speed is quite high on the lowest setting. Our fan, which has similar blades, moves a LOT of air! It's quite amazing, but it doesn't really do a "gentle airflow". On the high setting, it'll dry your hair quickly.
Installation was an absolute nightmare because I had a wonky ceiling box up there. The little DC transformer, that should fit nicely above the bracket, had to be forced into place. I invented some new insults while working on this one but probably not an issue for most people if the ceiling box is installed properly.
The inclusion of multiple down rods is nice, but I couldn't figure out how the smallest one would actually work -- there just is not enough clearance to do the wiring (the upper shroud blocks access, with only about 1-2" of space to work). Maybe I missed something obvious, but I recall the directions didn't provide any guidance. Not my first ceiling fan though, and I've installed flush mounts before.
All that said, I'd recommend buying it for this price. Even with the considerable airflow, the fan is silent. The only sounds are from the moving air.

I see these have the option for plastic vs wood blade, did yours have the option? Which do you have?
thanks for the review!

Yes the one I bought had five blades but not quite the same as this one. This one has bigger blades.
I had to contact them and they said to remove the grounding screw to force it in which worked.
Everyone loves those propeller blades I may well get this one for the Master Bedroom.
The remote looks the same.
It is nice to be able to do everything with the remote.
Think i bought a different branding of this fan. Works fine only complaint is the light on delay is 1 - 2 seconds and its board of LEDs not a light bulb.
It's a different deal and highly YMMV, but our Lowe's had over a hundred fans at 75% off for clearance. I bought 4. I always check there because deals seem to be better there than Home Depot. I've always gotten a deal at least half off when I go, as long as I'm willing to take what I can get.
