I've been on the lookout for 4k 32" 144hz+ for a long time and finally settled on two used AORUS FI32U models from eBay, both around $400. Honestly the dpi is incredible, everything is so much more clear than 32 1440p. I probably say it every few years but I think these will be good for a long time. I think 4k/32/144 is worth spending the money.

Only downside is my LG Oled 27/1440p is practically unreadable now haha, lower res and Windows does not love the subpixel layout. Oh well, still looks amazing in game.

I bought a refurb Acer monitor from ebay and it showed up with a dead pixel/s 1" left of the center of the screen. They would only do a return for refund and would not do a return for a replacement.

I got-in on these last year. I bought 3, returned one within 30 days, then bought another one. The three I have now are still going strong.

I just ordered one. Was waiting for the Samsung G7 G70B to go back on sale, but the Acer has USB-C and KVM function which was a big bonus for my use case (switching between USB C and eGPU).

OP, this is listed as the NV model, not LV. According to internet research, only difference is NV is predator version with lights, otherwise they are the same. Released in 2021 FWIW. Same panel as highly rated Gigabyte M32U (see rtings).

Unfortunately that's the lottery with these, but once you get a good one, they last a long time. I have a few Acer refurbished monitors from eBay that are still going strong after 2+ years

I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this along with the Acer Predator - 16" Laptop Intel Core i5-13500HX 2.50GHz 16GB RAM 512GB SSD W11H. Think that would be a good starter PC gamer pack.

Only reason why I am not is I just got a grade A Dell Refurbished workstation that's scuffed up with screws hanging out and glue and sharp edges. Need to get my money back on that first. Dell refurbished is hard to get a hold of....wonder how easy returns/warranties are for this

Got mine last night. It came in a box twice as big as the monitor with very little padding. The monitor has 2 scratches on it and some discoloration on the stand. It works just fine with no dead pixels. It also has a rattling noise. As the other person said they wouldn't do a replacement so I've asked for a return. Will see what they say.

The eBay returns go pretty well. They'll send you a return label through FedEx. After they receive it, a couple of days later you get your refund.

It's a total lottery if you receive something acceptable versus a product with an obvious defect (or if it gets damaged in transit). I've tried 3 times (for other monitors) and was only happy once. Not inclined to keep trying now.
