Actually that's a good way to increase the long-term longevity of a rechargable battery. By keeping the charge state in the middle (like 45% - 60%) and not lettting it get to 100% or 0.

Lenovo and Dell laptops have this feature where if you keep your laptop on AC power most of the time, you can set the charge threshold so it won't charge the battery past 60%. I have a Lenovo laptop I bought 10+ years ago and kept it like that, and the battery still works.

I really like the design but not the pink color, shade actually as I could probably deal with a different hue of pink not so pastel. Do they have any other colors available, even if more? Or a similar brand? Couldn't find on Amazon and the mfg's website is $60 for black. Overall specs look great and love the fact it is a 65%.

Looks like the black version and the white version are both sold out on amazon.
You could consider getting this and then getting a third party set of replacement keycaps, ie from hyperx, glorious or steelseries.
