Thanks. I'm assuming you'll need to buy a solar panel to charge this unit. Can you charge by plugging this in for a power outage?

Pretty good deal. I've seen more watt hours per dollar but not by a ton, and not from Ecoflow, who are one of the more reputable brands in this space. There are some other good deals there on similar models, as well as Ecoflow's beefier Delta line. One was $429 for 1260wh after coupon code, which is pretty fantastic.

Different battery tech in the first delta. This is by far the cheapest per a watt I've seen for the ups, boost and battery type.

I'm just asking that everyone getting this deal to please test turn on arrival. You don't want to be stuck dealing with ecoflows support service.

Just FYI I've read that the EPS (psuedo UPS) functionality in these units depends on the load. If something is using 200 watts and the power fails, it will switch pretty quickly. If the load is low, say only for a modem/router, it can take up to a second to switch, so your internet can still go out.

Also, I've read several stories on Reddit that the battery management systems on these get confused over time if you use them as a UPS. It will report the wrong charge % and may not charge more at all, and have to be drained completely and recharged to "reset" it.

I think these can be good for the right use case, but I wouldn't use one as a UPS.

note that even though this is a refurb, it is still eligible for the Ecoflow 5-year warranty (not just the Allstate eBay warranty)

I bought this for $299 a few weeks ago, this is a great deal. Mine works great and came in great condition. Had no issues registering it on the app for warranty.

If you're going to use it as an ups I'd suggest doing it immediately to check for issues. I've not experienced any of the above issues with mine. My load was under 200 but not by much. It switched fast enough for my use case.

Charge reported has been accurate. But these are in beta. Not sure what fw those Reddit were running. Ecoflow knows it isn't a 100% stable yet but it is getting there.

Any issues with the battery tech for that? I've heard some done love the load pattern (general comment. Not unit specific to this)

Does it run fans all the time even if fully charged and just passing through 115V? Looking for one to use with my CPAP and power outages, but am not looking for more noise.
