The Spanish keyboard appears to be QWERTY and simply adds some extra keys to make typing in Spanish easier. Any English writers have any experience with an Apple MBP Spanish keyboard?

You can change the keys buying a $20 key replacement from amazon. Did it with my from a germany macpro. Took me like 5 minutes to change 10+ keys. Very easy

Fwiw the geometry of the keyboard is slightly different than the us English one as well. The enter key and shift keys are different dimensions so there's actually more keys overall.

This is a horrible compromise to try and save a buck. Always avoid a non-native keyboard unless you have a legitimate use for it.

If you are not looking for this keyboard layout specifically, you will regret buying it.

Preemptive response regarding those who say they bought one (e.g. recent German layout deal) and say it's not a big deal: it is a big deal. They are lying to you and to themselves to justify their purchase.

This same laptop was $1250 last month with regular english keyboard. DON'T DO IT! This version sucks. Not even the Españoles like it.
