While the company presents a very wholesome image, it's important to acknowledge that their business model isn't very eco-friendly and they've employed tactics to distract from that criticism in the past.
Even if you aren't concerned about pollution, it's hard to ignore that the margins on their products are astronomically high and they're shafting the consumer.
Buy a 3D printer and print your own ornaments.
Yes, you should take a hit for this comment. I love 3D printing, but there's a huge difference in quality and colors, you're still producing a lot of waste, and the PLA isn't recyclable in any practical sense, either. Not to mention the start up costs. Complaining about price margins on items being clearanced out for $1.75-4.25 is just silly.
