Anyone able to attest to if this is a good blower or not? My 450cfm ryobi is good. So I gotta think this is as well. I have batteries and tools in both eco systems

It's ok for small jobs. Much lighter than my ego blowers (530 cfm and 765 cfm models), but also noticeably less power. Variable speed trigger is nice. If you are mostly clearing hard surfaces or blowing leaves across a dry lawn (smallish areas) it should work fine. 8 ah or larger battery is a must for any kind of decent run time. I don't think it would be a significant difference from your current ryobi.

FYI Milwaukee is releasing/has released a new gen version at 500 cfm

Thank you. It looks identical to the makita blower I bought my dad last yr and my ryobi does just as good as his makita. I think I paid $69 for my ryobi blower. Its been great for our deck

I have it and can't really see any use for it other than cleaning off completely smooth surfaces like garage, patio or blowing dust. Not at all for actually leaf blowing imo. I have a pretty small yard and could not imagine using it for that. It drains a 8.0 pretty darn fast would need probably 6-7 to do my yard, and it'd be painfully slow. Defiantly not a replacement for a gas blower, no comparison. I bought it to dry car after wash and blow out garage. I have a little low decibel gas echo backpack blower I use way more then this, it weighs almost nothing, pulling string is super easy to pull, and start first pull. If you already have a 450cfm ryobi it's the same thing. They both have 450cfm. Also if you have mostly Milwaukee batts just buy an adapter to use on ryobi.

if you're not blowing piles of leaves and jjust workshop dust or spot cleaning areas this is fine. If you're cleaning your yard you should save your money and get something from the ego line

It doesn't compare to the dewalt 40v or 60v leaf blowers. The m18 blower works better than my cheap ryobi 18v for blowing out the garage but for moving leaves across the yard, it is lackluster.

It works very well for blowing off the deck, sidewalk, etc. it's pretty powerful even for larger amounts of leaves. I have tons of trees and while I have a Stihl backpack blower for larger fall cleanup, this one gets a lot more use due to the convenience. It's also my go to tool to chase the barn cats out of the garage. It works with all size batteries, but I found the 5/6Ah size to be the sweet spot of balance between runtime and weight. The heavier batteries obviously last longer, but make the blower too heavy in the back for longer use.

The ego line is not that good, and that's coming from a tool rep. Plus, you have to send it to Canada to have it serviced. Unless you plan on using all their products for yard work, you're better off getting into a different ecosystem.
