My local Ace in NJ had a 50% discount on all holiday decor, including in-stock Twinkly lights. I bought a 400 light set for $85, regularly $170. $20 less than the Esbenshade's deal from last week.

One of the worst lights I have ever bought. App looses connection and lights need to be reset and reconnected almost regularly. I don't have these particular ones but the "curtain version". Customer service leaves a lot to be desired as well. This is my experience with this brand and others might differ. I too went for twinkly due to all the hype on SD. Regret it big time.
Sounds to me like a problem with your WiFi or WiFi coverage if your phone is losing connection to the lights.

FYI, deal is for the RGB version not the RGB+W version that was selling at Esbenshade

I've had weird problems with the curtains too. Strangest one is it thinks my curtains are right to left so everything is reversed. And one loses connection from time to time. Definitely not my wifi. I'm a network engineer. I would know if it was that. And these are a pita to flip the ganged curtains. Govee I just told it to flip one of the curtains so I could drop the power cords together down the middle.

Don't have the curtains but I know in the app for like my tree and stuff I could flip the image around under the mapping area. Would that work do you think?

Not my wi-fi. Tested everything. Every single device works perfectly except these darn lights.

Yep, that's exactly my experience with these lights. They look cool when lit but they take your frustration to a whole another level.

Twinkly lights don't seem to like being on a combined 5Ghz/2.4Ghz SSID. I had issues until I put them on a dedicate 2.4Ghz network.

I personally have not had this issue—incredibly reliable, but I don't have the curtain lights.

Ive put up three strings of Gen 1 sets for 3 yrs now and never had any issues. I am impressed with the technology every year I put them up.

Anyway to know if store has stock without going in or if it says "ships to store by xx" means they don't have any?
