4 years ago I see this was 47.99 at newegg as well. Guess that could be worse though as 4 years ago is a minute.
A monitor will generally pull about 35-50watts depending on what kind.
A system at idle with a 3090 will draw about 250w give or take.
IMO anything less than a 1500 VA isnt really suitable to be a backup for running computer. It's ok for a laptop buffer. or maybe plugging in a router/unmanagerd switch to keep the internet up but that is it.

I had four types of these, 2+ of each type. Lost power for a fraction of a second and the 10 or so OTHER devices worked fine. The two PCs connected to this specific model shut down instantly.
Fortunately there wasn't any damage, but this is ONLY a surge protector/powerstrip and tiny pathetic battery for charging things and will not keep your devices on if needed.
4 years ago I see this was 47.99 at newegg as well. Guess that could be worse though as 4 years ago is a minute.
My use case: 2 in the living room with TV and various accessories plugged in to, and 2 in another room with my Plex machine, router, a TV, and other small devices plugged in.
My intent isn't to provide long-term power, but to have a better opportunity to do "gentle" shutdowns. The UPS batteries don't last super long when I lose power, but they definitely cover very short outages. Typically, if power isn't back within a few minutes I head to both rooms to power down most devices.
I've come home several times to find the microwave clock blinking but the UPS devices all churning away fine with no errors, implying that I had short power outages that the UPSs covered no problem.
Very happy with how they've worked, but I'm not a huge fan of Newegg so not sure I'll get any of these. That said, I just activated an Amex 2% back coupon for Newegg, so I may go ahead and grab one or two. Gonna think on it a bit first though.

Gaming machines may need 1200VA or larger? TBD! If you have a very large PSU (750/850 or above) on a desktop and monitor, then size according to your needs. Some have minimum power states.
I buy these small ones for LED TVs (except the 65" and my ARK 55"), some small medical devices, cameras, and Child nodes.
This exact unit came ok from Newegg on the last sale as it arrived in perfect condition. But I agree about the return statements as you deal VFR direct with APC and their mercy. Shipping a unit back for a bad battery is cost prohibitive.
At least you can get a refund or replacement unit on most stuff at Amazon that is not returnable.
Also, some of the larger units give power conditioning.
