Per product page description, this tape can also be used on chimneys and sheathing panels

Usually 6" or 9" is used for flashing windows and doors, 4" is not wide enough to do a window in one pass. Potentially useful for the tops of double 2x deck girders. For zip sheathing seams, this would probably work and is cheaper than zip tape, but you'd lose the warranty on the zip by using this tape, which really isn't worth the savings. Perhaps if you just wanted to seam tape non-zip brand OSB for air-sealing.

Don't know why this says chimneys, that would be a disaster waiting to happen. Do not use flashing tapes for chimneys.

Nailing flanges are 1.5". 4" tape is enough by far.

But you want the tape to cover the sill / entirety of rough opening at least as deep as the window without having to lap when you fold over to the outside.
