Wow. Back in the 2016-2019 time frame, there's a bunch of posts where air mattresses like these were going for $8-$10 on a regular basis.

EDIT: lol someone thumbed this down.

Here's the search URL

https://slickdeals.net/newsearch.php?isUserSearch=1&q=Intex+Mattress&pp=20&sort=newest&rating=4&hideexpired=0&pricemax=16&forumid%5B%5D=all&forumid%5B%5D=71&forumid%5B%5D=30&forumid%5B%5D=9&forumid%5B%5D=4&forumid%5B%5D=8&forumid%5B%5D=10&forumid%5B%5D=13&forumid%5B%5D=25&forumi d%5B%5D=38&forumid%5B%5D=39&forumid%5B%5D=53&forumid%5B%5D=54&forumid%5B%5D=166&r=1

EDIT2: Holy dumbasses. The cumulative rate of inflation since 2019 is 20%, not 100%. That would make the $8 item then $9.61 now, not $16.

At any rate, there was a $10 Intex on sale last year too.

This just isn't as good of a sale. It's not bad, but it's not as good as those were back then.

They were probably just over-producing or something.

Quick Math check..

10 hours = 600 minutes

My ALMT ( average love making time ) is around 3 minutes.

600 / 3 = 200 sessions.

Since I'm married now I figure this should last me somewhere around 5 10 years before popping.. not bad for $16!

Air mattresses take on the temperature of the surrounding air. Just like you put blankets on top of you to insulate yourself from the cold air, you must do the same underneath you on an air mattress to be comfortable.

If anyone got this, can you give me an idea of the weight, and unopened package size? I plan on doing a camping trip for a week in June and this would probably be much comfier than my tiny backpacking pad. But I am flying so I have a size/weight limit.

six of C batteries will cost about as much. so consider doubling the cost if you want to add the batteries.
